Sunday on the mountain

Our day started early with some yummy “big bear biscuits” made by Mark, as I packed the lunches for our trek up to Mt. Hood for some hiking and a picnic. We drove up to Timberline and it was beautiful weather up on top. We bought the family of 4 Magic Mile skyride. We hiked around for a bit, snagged a seat on some rocks and enjoyed our sandwiches. Then we hiked back over to the chair lift and rode it down to the lodge. I recommend it to everyone this time of year, it’s only an hour from Portland and it’s worth the trip!
