Somebody please take the chocolate away from me. Like, now.

Ugh!  My stomach has been filled with Halloween candy for about four days now.  Hey, so I started a few days (weeks) early, that’s what happens when you buy it three weeks prior to the holiday.  Which is really interesting to me since for pretty much every other thing in my life I am a procrastinaaaator.

I mean, that’s how I met my husband.

I wrote a post (?), diary entry (?)…what were those called on Myspace?  Yes, it was five years ago, this was before Facebook took over.  Myspace, everybody had one.  One day in early October of 2006 I wrote about how I should be working on my homework (was attending college at the time) instead of wiping out on the internet, but that I had a problem with procrastinating.  And then one day, someone named Mark left a comment that said something like “you don’t know procrastination until you are randomly commenting on a strangers post”.

I was intrigued.

So I checked out his Myspace profile and pictures, realized that he seemed normal, was really good-looking, had a beautiful daughter and the rest is history in the making!

What was I talking about?  Oh yeah, I’ve eaten too much candy and there’s still quite a bit in the bowl.  I think I am in trouble.

The rain is here, and it appears to be on the forecast through the weekend.  But that’s okay, it doesn’t matter.  I am going on a beach trip with two of my best girls and their sons so I’m going to have a great weekend regardless!  Julie and her 3 year old Evan, and Brandee and her 2 year old Silas, will be joining me at the coast.  Sadly, this is only my SECOND trip to the coast this year.  That is seriously pathetic since we only live an hour away.  I wonder if we will hit snow going over the pass?

Here’s a random photo dump:

Oh, and if you haven’t checked out this blog before, maybe you should give it a look-see.  It’s full of beautiful things.

  1. I love Enzo’s Mr. Adorable onesie, so cute! Also, I would be happy to take that candy off of your hands 🙂 We didn’t buy any this year.

  2. Haha! Thanks Kira, but I came home from the coast this weekend and it’s looking pretty empty! I did bring home some saltwater taffy though!
